Quickstart
1. Download and check
The archives are for Linux. On macOS or Windows, run the node in Docker. macOS on Apple silicon also says arm64 to uname -m, but the archive will not run there.
These commands need curl, tar, sha256sum and OpenSSH 8.2 or newer (see requirements).
# Choose x86_64 or arm64 for your Linux CPU.
arch=x86_64
url=https://github.com/minanode/mina-rust/releases/download/v0.20.0
curl -fLO "$url/mina-0.20.0-linux-$arch.tar.gz" &&
curl --fail-early -fLO "$url/SHA256SUMS" \
-O "$url/SHA256SUMS.sig" -O https://minanode.org/allowed_signers &&
ssh-keygen -Y verify -f allowed_signers \
-I [email protected] -n file \
-s SHA256SUMS.sig < SHA256SUMS &&
sha256sum --check --ignore-missing SHA256SUMSCheck that the signer file is the release key: this prints its fingerprint, which must be SHA256:6h5S0dmb/Ogj3Hkk/E8+BwZZ1FiCsf8QbVvBzGqERdw. Verify and check says how to confirm a new or changed key.
ssh-keygen -lf allowed_signers -E sha256Continue only after a good signature, an OK checksum and a matching fingerprint. Verification details.
2. Unpack and run
mkdir mina-0.20.0
tar -xzf "mina-0.20.0-linux-$arch.tar.gz" -C mina-0.20.0
cd mina-0.20.0
./mina node --network devnetThe node runs in the foreground and stops when you close the terminal. To keep it running, run it in the background.
3. Open the dashboard
Open http://127.0.0.1:3000. On a server, first run this tunnel on your computer, as viewing it on a server explains.
ssh -N -o ExitOnForwardFailure=yes -L 3000:127.0.0.1:3000 you@server
